My Family

One of the greatest blessings of my life is my family.

This picture was taken outside the temple after Spencer and Laura were sealed on December 30, 2010 - one more step towards eternity! 

Mom & Dad

Kelly + Wendy Ericson = TRUE LOVE 

Mom and Dad were married August 23, 1984 in the Boise, Idaho temple.  They met at Brigham Young University earlier that year when Mom was Dad's Family Home Evening Mother.  I couldn't ask for better parents.

This is a picture of Dad and me on the last day of our stake Trek in July of 2009.  This is one of my favorite pictures.  I love my dad for many reasons.  Dad is one of the smartest guys I know (he still helps me with my math homework when I'm away from school).  He is always able to laugh easily and loves a good "zinger."  Dad is a good listener and is very generous.  Dad is always ready to listen to what I have to say and help me out.  He has taught me how to live the Gospel and be a good person.  I love my dad.

Here is a picture of Mom and me on the day Spencer and Laura were sealed.  This is also one of my favorite pictures.  I love Mom for many reasons.  Mom is one of my best friends.  When I was home during winter semester, one of the best parts was being able to hang out with her every day.  Mom is a beautiful lady who has a loving heart. Mom is always willing to help someone out even when it isn't fun or convenient.  Mom stayed up past midnight multiple times in high school to help me with my projects.  Mom has a strong testimony of the Gospel.  I love my mom.

Spencer & Laura

Spencer and Laura were sealed in the Ogden temple December 30, 2009.  They have been married just over six months now and are the cutest couple.  I am so happy to have Laura as a sister-in-law!  She is teaching me how to play volleyball and introduced me to black bean quesadillas. I love Laura.
I love Spencer for many reasons.  I have always looked up to Spence since I was a little girl and continue to today.  Spencer has been a good role model to us younger siblings and is a good brother.  Spencer always makes me laugh when I'm feeling sad and loves to have a good time.  You can always count on him to pull out the one liner.  I love Spencer. 

Katelyn

This is a picture of Katelyn and I at Guitars Unplugged during fall semester 2009.  I am so lucky and blessed to have her up at BYU-I with me.  She has been there for me both semesters and it has been a blast being in the same ward, going to TWO David Archuleta concerts, making dinners and treats, hanging out, and having sleepovers together.  I love Katelyn for so many reasons.  Katelyn is always there for me.  The first weekend of my freshman semester I was discouraged and homesick, I went over to Katelyn's apartment and just cried and cried.  She listened and told me everything would be okay.  And it was.  Katelyn is extremely talented, pretty, and outgoing.  Katelyn is a friend to everyone.  I love Kate. 

Brooke

This is a picture of Brooke and I after she finished running the Teton Dam Half-Marathon.  Brooke is an amazing runner.  She inspires me to run faster, harder, and longer.  I love Brooke for so many reasons.  Brooke is my other half, I LOVE driving in the van, blasting country, with her in the front seat.  Brooke makes me laugh, smile, and want to be a better person.  Brooke is very humble and loving.  Brooke never boasts about her talents or achievements and shows an outpouring of love to everyone around her.  I love Brooke.

Parker

Here is a picture of me and the best little brother a girl could ask for - Parker.  Parker is fifteen years old and taller than me!  He is a great basketball player and has taught me everything I know about the NBA.  I love Parker for so many reasons.  Parker is confident - he is confident with himself and his standards.  He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes and share it with others.  Parker is very respected and the girls think he is amazing.  Parker makes me laugh every day.  He is always happy and cheerful.  He is a friend to everyone and doesn't exclude people.  I love Parker. 

Sarah

This is a picture of my littlest sister Sarah and me while I was home for winter semester in 2010.  Sarah and I shared a room while I was home and I loved it!  Sarah is adorable and loves anything Disney.  I love Sarah for so many reasons.  Sarah is a happy girl.  She is always smiling and loves making other people smile.  She has a kind heart and is nice to everyone.  Sarah is tall, stylish, and red-headed!  She is great with little kids and loves playing with our cousins.  I love Sarah.
